Ian (E-N) Kocourek (Cuh-Sir-ick), singer-songwriter, is a part of the Central Texas and Coastal Texas music scene. Originally from Texas City, Texas, Ian is living in San Marcos & recently graduated from Texas State University. Ian’s dad, John Kocourek, ensured that music would be a part of his life because music runs in the family. Ian has crafted a style that is influenced by the simple and honest songwriting of Tom Petty and John Mayer, the Texan sound of Randy Rogers and Charlie Robison, and hopes to be timeless and digestible like Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He hopes to have a recognizable sound and important impact like his influences before him.
